In Port Bourgenay, right in the heart of the Vendée, L’Attilio is housed in a contemporary building that opens out onto the horizon. Overlooking the marina and its sailing boats, the restaurant invites you to enjoy a seaside interlude, between the sky and the Atlantic. The murmur of the waves, the shifting light of the ocean and the morning’s fresh catch form the vibrant backdrop to every dish. Here, the local terroir is rooted in the sea: line-caught fish, shellfish from the coast, coastal herbs… Each ingredient captures the moment, in harmony with the tides.
The Chef’s cuisine is bold, precise, and inspired. There are also delightful discoveries on the wine list, featuring local selections full of character.
We came for a family lunch to celebrate my birthday, and it was simply extraordinary! The staff get an honorable mention for their attentive, perfectly timed service.
The lunch menu is refined, approachable, and well-executed. Service is prompt and friendly, making this a great spot for business lunches or simply to treat yourself to a midday meal.
